Growing up Ieshua was heavily involved in sports, from soccer, lacrosse and weight lifting to track and field and cross country. He loved to move. All of this wonderful playtime would also sometimes result in injuries, which in turn led him to many hours of receiving specific injury-related bodywork. This eventually led into a desire for Ieshua to give bodywork to others.
Ieshua moved to Florida in 2007 to attend the Florida School of Massage certification program, graduating in 2008 with 730 hours of training. In 2009 he attended the GoPrimal Fitness Institutes Integrative Massage and Personal Training program, helping him bring greater depth to his understanding of how to apply exercise and massage to help people move better, both in sports and in Life.
He believes that massage is not only an opportunity for one to have specific attention payed to the soft tissue systems of our body's that might be suffering from injury or stress. It is also an opportunity to let go of burdens that we hold onto and move into a place where our bodies can do the truly restorative work for themselves.
